Even if it costs them Steven Motlop apparently, Dangers a gun & no doubt alongside Selwood he's a player they could build a midfield around but I wouldn't be losing Motlop just to fit his over-inflated salary under the cap.

Go back to that final the Cats pinched off us in 2013 & they wouldn't have got close if it wasn't for Motlop turning that game on it's head.

A tourism promotion job with the City of Greater Geelong for somewhere between $300-$500k. That should be an independent Chris Judd like outside the ASA's cap. The ASA cap will be over $1mil and clubs have to spend at least 95% of it so ifs its not an independent 3rd party agreement then they can pay Geelong and Paddy gets 30-50% of that cap. **** Paddy all over Oz promoting Geelong and the Great Ocean Road towns and beaches.

Yea you are probably right Daniel's trick bag ran pretty deep it's a pity he didn't have the same approach to footy as Steven appears too

Yeah, Daniel after a couple of Burgess pre-seasons and coached by Ken would have had Bruce ditching his love of Cryil.

As for Dangerfield to Geelong, unless he's really homesick it's not a great choice. They're on the way down with or without him. He'd cop flak as they went down. Unless it's the Hawks (and get ****ed if it is) a team like Essendon, Carlton, Richmond or Collingwood gets the profile and cash without all the expectations of being the missing link for a flag. Glory without being team first is Paddy.

The SANFL knocked them back too. Which is a fact often lost when teams have gotten into trouble.
