Drew just about kicked the distance but in the opposite direction.

Yeah Drew is a good role player, but his lack of penetration in his kicks is his major weakness. He struggles to kick goals straight in front from 40m out. Anything 40+ forget it.

Why was that not high for Butters?

The silence from the commentary when the replay showed a clear high was infuriating. I’m convinced there must be a directive against pointing out too many umpiring errors.

It's just a matter of time.

We are just a mediocre team, the same mediocre team you see weekly that take it up to the top team for a few quarters before being inevitably beaten because they aren't good enough. We're in big trouble here we're pretty much playing as good as we can, totally red-lining but still behind.

Our mistakes are just so poor. Bonners drop, Butters just dropping an I50 mark, wasted chances, fluffed bounces, poor decisions, ridiculous turnovers, etc.

Mead, Farrell & Georgiadies extremely poor.
Butters & Clurey not far behind.
Bonner looking like a player that hasn't touched a footy in weeks.

Bergman, Burton, Boak, Rozee & Houston our best.

More I50s and smashing them in clearances. Scary that we are getting control where we want and still behind.

However, most others are not.

My summary of those:
Mead - out; shorts need washing from self-inflicted soilage.
Farrell - out; shorts need a week’s worth of washing.
Bonner - out; shorts need washing.

Bergman is playing a great game which makes it all the more frustrating that we have players in the SANFL that keep getting ruled out for no reason, with CD even saying the whole lot of them weren't AFL quality, while we kept going with players who were probably a downgrade on who we could have been playing from our reserves.
