There were calls for a review when non-Victorian teams won 6 Grand Finals in a row. Not a peep since in the last 16 Grand Finals 14 of the winners have been Victorian.

There was 10x the talk in the media about Collingwood getting a couple of poor decisions against Adelaide earlier in the year, than the entirety of the 2016 disgrace.

We were definitely had that day. I know it'd be dismissed as conspiracy nutjob type stuff to say the AFL instructed the umpires to heavily favour the Bulldogs, but I can't see how the game was umpired in an organic and/or fair manner in what eventuated.

Anyway, I don't really think about the game anymore and I'm certainly not as bitter over it like I was for a good 4 or 5 years. Can't really do anything to change what happened.

I would love to hear from Hannebery to find out if that was the injury that caused his future injury problems as you are right that he was never the same after that injury in the 2016 Grand Final but there has been no confirmation the two are linked (though they likely are).

He did a medial and couldn't run for 4 weeks so I'd say it's very likely the cause

Called him out on it, he suggested he used the words akin to a king hit when he said effectively a king hit. Called him out on that as well. He then goes back and edits the post to try and make out he never said anything of the sort not realising Facebook shows the previous versions prior to the edit.What a ****ing idiot!
