Maybe it's the other AFL Academy kid who was/is training with us for a week (along with Quaynor), Curtis Taylor from the Calder Cannons. I can't see who else it could be.

According to the AFL Victoria Record he turns 18 early next year (DOB 15-Jan-00), so he's only missed out by a couple of weeks on being draftable this year. He should indeed be a solid unit by late next year!

Mayne has played AFL, hopefully he rebounds and can add some value even if pushing players for a spot.

His output last year was poor and with some luck can get back to some good football.
