The road to the 2004 Grand Final begins on Wednesday 5th November as the players return from their off-season break. Those players who have been in the game longer will have a longer break, so the young guns will hit the track first. Find out when your favourite player commences his pre-season training.

To me there's two players out of place on that list:

Smart is starting training rather early for an oldie.

And Shirley is starting training rather late for someone who's still fairly inexperienced.

I think I just might come there late,.....i need to sleep

Perhaps Shirley is starting later, because he played in the SANFL finals.

Strange though that Smart is starting earlier than most.
