Round 3 tips

OB - looks an excellent early season form line. Fitzroy to make this a real contest.

Scotch by 100 points plus

Bernards - will be a very tough game. Carey to come out hard.

Monash - disappointing second half against Scotch. Clearly very competitive though. Will be too strong for Mazenod.

AJAX - a guess as I do not know if Parkdale home ground advantage means much.

The OB v Fitzroy game should be a great game. I think the form line from OB shows very little as they have played both of the newcomers to Prem B. Having said that, Fitzroy only scraped past Parkdale and then played Peninsula. Based on that I'll take OB by 2 goals.

Old Scotch v Peninsula - The condition of Camberwell Sports Ground will determine the margin.

Old Carey v St Bernards - Should be a good game but St Bernards are just a much better team.

Mazenod v Monash - Monash look to have improved from last year. They should win this by 40.

Parkdale v AJAX - Hmmmmm. Should be a reasonable game. Home ground advantage will make the Jackas work hard for the win. AJAX by 10 points.

Tonners tracking well and will salute.
Scotch were very good in the second half last week and look to have improved on last year. The ruckman is a good addition. Scotch to win easy.
I'll stick with bernies but expect Carey to lift.
Monash will win if they reproduce their first half from Saturday.
Parkdale get my nod on their home deck.

OC .Noticed Reid and Miscamble in 2s. Will be interesting to see if they play. Could add a lot of strength

St Bernards and OS have started hot and should be favourites however i think this division runs very deep. It would not be unfair to say Peninsula, Mazenod and Parkdale may well be fighting out the bottom two spots, even at this early stage, but any of the other 7 could challenge. Several sides are fielding very new line-ups or new coaches and will take time to gel, and there is a lot of talent running around. OB, AJAX, Monash, Fitzroy and OC could all challenge, though OC may well be zip three after this week. Monash is my dark horse, if they are afforded that tag after finishing 4th last year, with heaps of run that will be well suited to their home ground, as well as September action, and also the away fields of the Snakepit and Bulleen in particular

FWIW I think Parkdale are better than a bottom 3 side. U19s going strong in Premier division as well, promising signs for them.

Nice work by Scotch when they finally woke up.
Brighton are the real deal.
Snowdogs look great.
There's your top 3. Lock it in. Cannot and will not change.
4th is a raffle. Panthers will improve, Choccos AJAX and maybe Monash despite this weeks disappointing loss. Did not expect to see Brighton back in A Grade. But pretty sure this is what we will now see.

Old Carey are a good side. Top 4 material in my view. Capable of turning 5W and 4L.
 
Tipped 4 again. 13 from 15 is solid. So maintaining approach. Rd 4 tips for you Rissoles.

Bernards were just OK today and prevailed. Will be too good for Fitzroy.
Old Brighton - form side. Lock them in. Too strong for Monash.
Carey to win their 1st at Parkdale.
Scotch to win at AJAX.
Mazenod to beat Peninsula.

Snowdogs $2.30- I don't think anyone expected the Bernie's to be in B Grade for more than a year. In the bag man!
Brighton $4.00 - surprise packets for me. Had em 4th best a month back.
Scotch $5.00 - turning it on when challenged. But some of the scores before this 'turn on' have turned me a little off. But a big chance still.
Carey $20.00 - need to start winning soon. Game against Snowdogs suggests they are ok, but unlikely to salute on the last day in September for me.
AJAX $25.00 - call it the Chocco factor, but these guys are a smoky. But a flag would surprise.
Monash Blues $35.00 - Best youngsters in the league. Ahhh no.
Fitzroy $40.00 The big preseason departures will hurt. Good start to the year, but tougher matches will follow.
Parkdale $60.00 Just no.
Mazenod $80.00 hell no.
Pirates $100.00 you kidding.
