WOW, that's not a 50-50 decision it is interference no question. Quill notorious for standing in the hole back in the days we played them. Regularly yelled at him to get off the ground in those days.

To the numerous whistle blowers out there who know the rules better than I do, should this have been an OM’s free? Looks for all money like the OM’s defender was blocked (accidentally or otherwise) by the Blues runner, who really should not have been there. In a game decided by 3 points this was obviously a very big moment.

The game changed from that point, if a free was given to OM who is to say the Uni would not of marked the kick and gone back inside the 50 and a goal scored. It also means that OM’s later goal would not have been scored as at the time it was. It’s one of those sliding doors moments. We will never know.

As I said, two great outcomes here, OM’s lost and Mr Martyn won.
