There is no lid. We're lidless.Unbeaten so far this season. The lid is well and truly off, disintegrated even.

Don't tell McKenna.Oh wow. I'm having troubles with the players.
I've tweeted the club asking for an update.
No response.
Of course.
It's very hard to get a solid read on game plan cohesion with all the new faces at this point, I think.Gach stayed down for a little bit, got up himself, then couldn't really walk that well and got helped off the ground.
Also on further reflection I'll say our gameplan from a first look didn't seem much different. I think they want players to run and carry more -- the likes of Fanta & Tippa were the best at this -- but I found a lot of guys kicking out of the back 50 took the first option out wide. One good thing was that there were a lot more players in the forward half leading out wide and creating space. The problem was that either not enough of the guys in the middle took advantage of that space, or the player with the ball as I said above saw the first option out wide and took it.
On the plus side, decisions improved as the game went on.

There is still going to be a lot of adaptation and accustoming to be worked through.

Besides the injury worries, there seems to be one positive, the forward line seems to have several scoring options, I'm not concerned with us going wide as long as we are going forward, also there would be a number of guys who played today that will spend plenty of time in the VFL side so in grading the game plan we need to look at the guys who will form the bulk of the senior side.
