I don't think Wines does get big headed etc. I was replying to a post that suggested he could be, and suggested that if that was the case then the Showdown (a high intensity game) is a the perfect game for that anyway... so he shouldn't be dropped.

You Could go through our list of 22 right now and there is no one there i would want as sub any name you pop out you Could carry on like you have i am 12 etc... Or you Could ignore it or heaven forbid jõin a proper discussion

Your subs should come from mids and possibly a tall e.g. Fwd or Ruck. BUT never the back half as all 6 are settled and playing well. Stevensen could easily have been in our best 6 on the weekend

We can't drop people because of one game, especially when we are winning. People questioned Broady's output last week and this week he stepped up. Giles and Brogan are no mugs, Redden may have had an off week, I see nothing in Renouf to drop Redden yet, make Reneouf stack up a few good games in the SANFL first, same for Dom, same for Gray etc etc

We are undefeated with two large winning margins, unless injured i can't think of anyone deserving of being dropped, even Moore was unlucky last week.

I wouldn't mind Renouf coming in this week. I think at this stage he's the only ruck we have that can match Jacobs in ruck contests.

Renouf is a dinosaur. He can win hitouts, but he can't do much else. Barring excellent form from Renouf or terrible form from Redden, IMO the only time we should be playing Renouf ahead of Redden is when the opposition has a dinosaur ruckman who dominates hitouts and who we need to nullify. Jacobs is one of those ruckmen. He'd eat Redden and Lobbe alive at the stoppages, but Renouf is good enough in the ruck that he should at least be able to at least do a decent job of diminishing Jacobs' influence. And Renouf's lack of athleticism doesn't matter so much, because Jacobs isn't exactly Usain Bolt either.

As long as Hinkley's bum points to China we should never drop/relegate Heath, Stevenson or Pittard. They are the most cohesive and fluid small/medium defensive unit since Monty-Wilbur-Chad.

Heath and Stevenson are absolutely magnificent recruits. I'd forgotten what it was like to have defenders who could defend, make good decisions and dispose of the ball.

They have been terrific. Some really smart recruiting there. Will be interesting to see how they go hopefully under a bit more pressure this week than in the last couple. Looking forward to the game for the first time in a while, should be a cracker.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Campbell Heath approaches his help defence as the 3rd man up. This is critical to stopping Walker when he's not on the lead.

We keep Walker under 4 goals and we're a massive chance. Campbell Heath goes a long way to this happening.

Cant drop Mitchell IMHO. Has come on at 3/4 time in both games when the game was already over and he has ran his guts out for the team. he is hungry, he runs as hard as anyone we've ever had before and deserves to start his first AFL game.

Loved watching him live on Saturday night. We were a couple down so he didnt come for a single rest. Ran his guts out and was key in a number of scores in the last quarter. Also he's a bit of a cult hero (well he is to me)....dont drop cult heroes when they are in form..!!

This idea about 'experience' being some overarching factor that should guarantee senior players a game ahead of actual form is one of the dumbest myths pervading football. Experience means nothing if you don't have the ability and leadership to go with it. Ask a Melbourne supporter whether they're getting better performances and leadership out of 2nd game 18 year old rookie Jack Viney or 177 game 29 year old veteran David Rodan. But I bet dickheads like Wrinkles and Stupid would play Rodan ahead of Viney if they had the choice. Never mind that one of them is a hard-working, tough inside midfielder and the other is an inconsistent, unfit, flaky outside player without a defensive bone in his body. How 'bout that experience, amirite guys?

Gray is way to valuable a player to rush back into the side. While we have the luxury of having a fit and in form squad, make the most of it by giving him all he time he needs to get back to 100%. As far as needing an experienced head, we have Kane Cornes who seems to be providing some leadership now and is playing well and players like Boak and Ebert are both 100 gamers now, Schulz and Westy should qualify for experienced heads and are both playing well. Apart from tinkering with the sub and maybe the ruck, I don't see any need for change unless it's forced.
