Well it’s an 11 team comp Div 2 north. Gympie going Friday nights and only needing to field one team rather than 2 and not driving into Brisbane almost every week would be a benefit for them in my opinion.

Hard to go past Redcliffe and Kenmore this weekend.

Alex won’t be a walkover, but I think Redcliffe will get the job done.

Kenmore - with what they did to Pine Rivers last week you’d expect them to go again?

A couple of good games at Redcliffe on the weekend. Both the Redcliffe ressies and seniors through to the gf.
The wind played a big part in how the game was played out.


I think we will see both alex sides get up this weekend and into the gf.

its about time and there really playing well compared to earlier in the year

They are playing really well..they’ve clicked in to another gear this finals series
Would be a serious effort to go from 8th the year before to a GF berth this year

Agreed. They’ve made mince meat of swans and lions. Credit to their squad and coaching staff for the turnaround from 8th.

I can’t find a forum for Div 2 south but I think Pacific Pines will be competitive in there. Seem to be in a good location as well. Would be a local rivalry between Coomera I’d suggest. Not sure how this helps Beenleigh however.

I think Moorooka will be maybe middle of the pack. Also good location between in the middle of Mt Gravatt and Sherwood.

Both teams will be dependent on who sticks around from the Friday night squads. Both squads have been successful for a number of years. But Saturdays always brings new and old faces back to clubs. Moorooka, unlike PAC Pines will need to establish and slowly build a junior and youth pathways. But it’s a start.

Moorooka hasn’t had juniors for over a decade.
