sorry if its been mentioned elsewhere...

is anyone else getting hassled on the phone by the footy club (or marketing agency call centre) to buy $200 raffle tickets?

i've just had my THIRD call in the past week.

The first time i said i've just had a baby and am a bit skint.. he asked if i could just put it onto a credit card.... fairly irresponsible if you ask me.

the second and third calls i just said..mate, my situation hasnt changed in the past 3 days.. i'm still broke and wont use my credit card for a raffle ticket.

Seriously i'm all for the club.. and give when i can. Now is just a time when i can't give. These calls are becoming annoying and are really turning me off being a member.

I questioned the guy last week and he didnt even know who we were playing on the weekend!!!

anyway anyone else getting these?
is it a bit irresponsible to badger people to use a credit card?

So I was unable to get to a computer to book tickets for the Freo game yesterday. Gone to buy them today and there are absolutely none available. Flights were booked in Feburary solely to go see the boys in Perth, but now it looks to have been a complete waste of money. Anyone have any suggestions?

If you haven't already, perhaps ask on the Freo board. They'll probably have a better idea on what the situation might be, say, if you rock up on the day and try and get a ticket.

Did somebody say magic tickets?

is it possible to ban Old Skool (from the Norf board) from posting on our board? why does he feel the need to keep coming here?

is there any reason why I can't reserve a seat through Ticketmaster for the Doggies game? the website is telling me:

I've bought tickets for all home games this way ????

We would have to be on par with one of the best depth teams in the league atm what do ya think?

Today i was like ah shit monfries out for 3 but davey back in a week to cover

Zaka out and Myers Steps up

Pears out and Jakey Carlile holding his own spot in his team

Being a selector for Essendon atm would be one of the toughest jobs around atm haha

whats gonna happen when players like Gumbleton, Winderlich, Zaka, Prismall etc are Fully fit and playing great football? obviously Zaka already has been

If you have an Essendon membership your membership already has a seat attached to it so you don't have to reserve a seat.

On the back of your membership card it will show your seat number.

Point of clarification.

Can we implement a rule that if a poster changes their name - They make a post notifying the board of the change.

It can take me a week to match up the names.

Interesting and useless fact: in June 2000, EFC changed its registered legal entity name from "Essendon Football Club" to "Essendon Football Club." see: added full-stop. The trading name remained full-stop-less.

The other interesting bit is that this year, the club registered the additional business name "Melton Country Club" under its ABN.
