The news is that Mark Williams will move to Tigers as a Development Manager. Williams did not like it in Sydney. That will be confirmed. Apparently Primus will become an assistant coach at Geelong, and it looks like Boak will go with him.

Guess not. :) It's petty i know but I am glad this is not the case. Geelong finally miss out on something!

Boak still hasn't signed with Power, BUT I heard that he will stay with them. Now, whether that is true or not, I have no idea.I was right about Williams..lol;)
I heard it was 2 years at 1.3 million - Geelong would never be able to match that. At the end of that 2 years he will be a restricted free agent though.

Hey guys,

I have been a member of Hawthorn for three years and was just looking on the site to purchase my 2012 membership (pretty late i know). It seems that i can't buy one because the 2013 memberships are already on sale.

I was just wondering whether I am able to keep my record of being for three years as i don't want to start again and go back to 1. Any help would be much appreciated!

Give the club a call -- I'm sure the membership dept will sort something out for you so you don't have to restart

.. may i ask why so late ?

Worth a call, but I'm pretty sure you've done your dash. Membership year ended at the end of August this year (extended from the end of June, which was the end of the membership years in years past).

Can anyone offer some advise as to why BigFooty no longer works for me?
It is hit and miss when I post and I can never quote posts either.
I hit post reply, the little icon spins like it is doing it and then nothing.
I cant get on anyone's profile pages, its just stuffed.
Any advice would be welcome.

On the draft coverage last night it was interesting to hear the interview with Lachie Whitfield's Mum, they are long time Hawthorn supporters and his Dad actually played for us in the U19's I think.
His Mum said they have a relative drafted to the Hawks last year, who was that?

Went Xmas shopping recently and looked around a book store (yes, they still exist). Instinctively, I went to check out the sports books expecting the same old stuff and was pleasantly surprised to see a new book called 'Dipper - Life on the Rollercoaster'. I had no idea another Hawk had published an autobiography (as I usually snap them up regardless of which ex-player it is).

So... if you're looking for a gift for a Hawks fan, this may be a nice surprise for them. Unless someone is buying it for you, in which case I've just destroyed the surprise. Sucks to know everything. :p
