Suggestions please.

I've just picked a St Kilda supporter for Kris Kringle this year. I'd love any humerous & cruel gift ideas for those inclined to think both humerously and cruelly. Nothing too expensive though. :D The recipient does have a sense of humour so I have a 'don't hold back' philosophy on this one...
Im afraid to inform you that there is nothing you can really do to hurt a StKilda supporter. They are tolerant to pain and cruelty after years of practice.

Here we see a die hard saint listnening to Bros in preparation for season 2014.

Here's a question Hawkers... How on earth did Jack Gunston not win the Norm Smith medal this year?

I'm a massive fan of lake but Gunston was ripped off IMO.

I think its because he didn't get enough votes

In all seriousness they both had great games - gunners in the first half, lake in the second - the second was fresh in their minds - equal winners would of been a good result and gunners would feel hard done by but the same could of applied to lake if he had missed out. I think everyone was surprised because it wasn't a midfielder and that lends itself to questions about the eventual winner

Nah, still ruing the lost Grand final. :( And I reckon it was Gunston that did the job. And gee, he'd be so perfect in the forward line at Freo.

Gunston was huge. 4 goals in such a low scoring Grand Final is a massive achievement. Lake was equally as influential down the other end though. I am glad that a defender could get recognised for a change. Forwards have the Coleman medal and all the glorious goal highlight videos. Midfielders have the Brownlow and most everything else. Defenders are usually forgotten.

I was wondering, do other clubs take the Premiership Cup on a "tour" around the country the same way that hawthorn has done? I think it would have been to every state by now and I vaguely remember the same thing happened in 2008 but with less coverage (less social media)
So is it a Hawks only or does every premier for that year do it?

Pretty cool that we are taking the cup to Perth to rub it in those Dockers faces.

I
How come our name isn't engraved on the cup? It just says premiership cup presented to blank, I have a photo with the 2008 cup and it has Hawthorn engraved in caps.
don't think they have had a chance to get it to the engravers yet!

So just received my 2014 membership pack in the mail and in the 'Member Benefit's' booklet there is an ad for ADIDAS and a picture of buddy amongst 2 other hawkers in club jumpers.

Am I missing something? Why would buddy be in that picture?

No not at all CP. 2013 was more of - if we don't win the whole world will cave in.

Would have to agree. The feelings after both wins were:

2008: Excitement - "Holy ****, we won!"
2013: Relief - "Thank **** we won!"
