Can't make excuses forever. Rain falls equally on both sides.

We have missed too many opportunities against fellow top 8 teams already to get another pass. If we can't take more than 1 scalp in the top 8 (and a soft one at that) then how is that not pretender status?

The last time we played in extreme weather at home was against GWS (who were 3rd at the time). We played pretty well then, and it had started our ascension up the ladder.

I actually think the cold wet night will be harder conditions for Brisbane to get on top of. Not only because Brisbane has been training in the mid 20's and Sunshine all this week.

But because according to Wheeloratings, the Crows are well above them this season for tackles, intercepts, hard ball gets, ground ball gets, contested possessions, meters gained, and scores from turnover.

All key ingredients for winning wet weather footy.
