Gotta lift my TEE game. Sitting on 70% in History, 69% in french, 66% in Politics, 73% in Lit and 72% in Ancient History. Need to have everything at 76% to get a 96.5 TER.
You f***ing blink and a quarter of the year has already gone.
I am actually going to have to put in effort. Just writing my Whitlam dismissal speach (due tomorrow) and did my poetry essay on wednesday morning (due wednesday).
I'll stop procrastinating tomorrow i swear.

Why aim so high, its better being big fish in a small pond i say, until you become a lazy, lazy fish by 3rd year uni.

Don't worry about it. Year 12 and TEE is so overrated it's not funny. You want to do law right? You've got years to worry about doing hard work. Just put your feet up and enjoy the awesome year that is year 12.

Wish I did that... Instead I did reta--ed subjects that ****ed up my year with busy work...

And still, nothing out of it except dropping out of 2 different uni degrees (For different reasons of course)

Thinking I might just **** it and go for an apprenticeship

TEE is not the end of the world. Seriously, they make it out to be, but it is such a load of wank it's not funny.

Exactly. I'm pretty convinced I'm gonna change degrees now. Although it's lucky I took it easy in both school and uni, even if I did do hard subjects. Natural smarts is good enough for high school.

It is a pretty awesome year. Big fish, easy juvie hunting, leavers to look forward to.
I dunno. I have just been in cruise mode the entire way since year 10. If i put in a little bit of effort, i should be able to get the grades i want. At the moment i am doing essays the night before, homework the morning before and study for in-class essays the class before.

Ah..those were the days. Lol, I still havent changed and its my final year at uni. Just do what's easy and enjoyable for you, TEE doesnt tell you jack shit.
 
Same as me CK, last year i got by with the 4 50's for my units, and so far this semester i see nothing that's gonna make it any different.

Its awesome.
 
ah uni, only having to get 50%, only having to go for a few of hours a day if that, some of which can be watched on the internet. Old enough to legally drink with a pub on campus. Now THAT is the good life

I had the exact same problem in Year 11, I cruised through Years Eight to Ten. It was a ****ing breeze, not studying for tests, rocking up and getting 70%+, was awesome. Then I came to Year 11 and had the same attitude and I wasn't prepared for the increase in work I had to do, I reckon the jump from Year 10 to Year 11 was higher than from Year 11 to Year 12. I suppose it didn't help that my folks wouldn't let me change G+T (which I genuinely hated) to Foundations of Maths.

Anyway, long story short, my report halfway through Year 11 had more D's than the Playboy Mansion so I had to pull my finger out and ended up passing and went into Year 12.

TEE means **** all in the scheme of things, it is way overhyped by many people, most of them are teachers although I suppose they are only trying to do the right thing in preparing people for what they should expect in university.

There are plenty of other ways to get into uni other than TEE, TAFE, uni prep courses, perhaps even working for a year are all choices you can take.

And by your 8th year and last semester you don't turn up to one of your classes at all until week 7.

I remember throwing up in the senate building at Murdoch in my first few weeks there. ****ing campaignerhags trying to screw us over! Made me sick to the stomach it did!

I guess I was lucky that I was 18 before 1st year started though...

Quinz, im not going to pm you inregards to putting my post back up, you lemonade sandwich. I didnt bag WCE, just pointed out that your club has an overrated junior in Masten. Just like you i get quite touchy when someone is telling me something true. By you taking my post off, your turning this into a s!hit fight. I still wont bung sh!it on your club because thats not what the post was about. I just saw a young bloke in a tight game(masten) that didnt know if he was at the gabba, or at the waca for that matter. Quinz it was an opinion and that was it. Goodluck against your boogey side this week, quickly get rid of the post/evidence.
