As is per usual for an off-season (or for any part of a year, in all honesty) we have the Demon tragics out in force, wasting away their while-away lives with highly dubious player comparisons between their players and other players (from rival clubs) carefully selected on the basis that their own player may actually have a hope of stacking up favourably.

In a vain bid to spare the masses here from suffering through the plethora of these comparisons that hit the board each week (in some case having 40 odd players on your list is never quite enough, but with exercises like this, having 40 odd players on the Melbourne list is at least 38 too many), I thought we'd just condense the whole sorry exercise into one, relatively painless thread...

I started to watch it but then I realised;

Why the hell would I want to kick one guy kick tons of goals for a team, that still loses despite his best efforts? I'm sure everyone remember that game last season where Fev kicked 4 goals... The only 4 goals the Blues kicked. So depressing to see such talent go to waste in such a useless side. Has there ever been a side as bad or worse than the Blues of the past 4 seasons? Can't think of one.
