The way im pretty sure it works is, whatever his price was when he went down in Rd2 (his starting price ~440k?) is then discounted by 30%* for a LTI (>14weeeks is the LTI time frame for VS i think). So he will effectively be 30%* cheaper (if was 440k, would be 308k next season) so that would put him priced ~75 i think.

*Could be 20% not 30%.

I always thought it was, but obviously since they kicked it and got +3 from that, kicking it out on the full effectively gains 0 points.

It'd generally be +3.

If it accidentally hits your boot, it doesn't count as a stat and would just be 0.

I would think JRoo. After a poor start he has started to score a bit better lately and he has the ability to get a really big score.

Darling in a year or 2 could be a DT star!

Anyone feel 4 cats is too many? I would imagine there are some with Selwood, Bartel, Enright and Chappy. Looking at bringing in Chappy this week but then that would make 4 cats in my squad

Also in the same predicament as you. I have Bartel, Enright and SJ but am thinking about bringing in Chappy as well. I think i might hold off though as i don't wanna lose my first final and then be completely stuffed for the Semi.

316k right now. Sure he has only averaged 75 this year, but that includes 14 in round 1 when he was subbed off with concussion, and 45 in the driving rain against the Swans. Last two scores of 110 and 100. Seems to be getting more consistent. Am I mad?

Would certainly be an excellent unique to have, especially if he could turn that 75 season average to 90+ by years end. Only problem I have with Jarrad is his uncanny ability to get suspended for 2-3 weeks just when you need him most.

Kick Ins - In DT, Im under the impression that unless a player plays on from a kick he gets no points for kicking it in.

Is this correct?

Also, in SC (sorry cant be botherd posting this on that board as well), again this is my understanding. If a player kick ins (without playing on) and he kicks it to the opposition this counts as a clanger even though his kick in isn't even a stat to begin with. Is this correct?

Seems like you're on a hiding to nothing if it true.

Im thinking Smith especially this week against the Cats (will they be Ottensless?), but Krak seems to be playing better latley.

I have the same players. Will be going ZSmith in the ruck & Petrie as F7. Krakouer is not reliable to put up decent scores week in week out IMHO. Mid/Fwd Emergency for Krak this week for mine. ZSmith should be good for 80+ against Geelong. Where as Krak could be subbed off at half time for all we know. At the end of the day it really comes down to who is more likely to be subbed, ZSmith or Krak?

A tough one. Depends on how strong your league is.

It'd be tough to win a league without Chappy since he'll likely end up the highest scoring Cat. I'll certainly bring him in - since at 400k he's going to be far too tempting to miss out on.

If you plan your team out right, you should have someone like Didak or Petrie as F8, so missing Chappy in 1 final should not lose too many points I would think.
