check with cheif and/or fred (more likely to get info from 1st one)

Fred is the one to talk to first actually - Chief's more involved with actually running the site itself, not the individual members, which is Fred's responsibility. If Fred can't deal with it, he'll refer you up the chain, but it's best to go to Fred first.

thank GOD for Rendell! If it wasn't for him, we'd have that Brad Ebert instead of the champion, Patty D!
Ebert = go to Port and be just an above average player
Danger = brownlow medallist
/not being biased :p

but seriously, Ebert was SHOCKING under pressure tonight, Danger thrives on pressure! :)

THANK YOU MATTHEW RENDELL! YOU ARE A CHAMPION! :thumbsu: I want to find him tomorrow and give him a hug! :p

I completely concur with what is said here :thumbsu:

I think I just witnessed one of the worst games of football I've ever seen. Certainly a shit result anyway.
The skill level was horrendous in the Port game tonight, especially at the end with Ebert. And then the Saints game, bloody hell it was over in the first 5 minutes! A good night for DT, a shit night for footy.

THEY'RE BACK!

Watch this if you wish to blow a load, excuse the crass language ladies, but I'm excited.

Only among people who give him reason to be annoyed ;) I've always found him to be very helpful and quite good-natured, which I personally value highly.

Take my word for it, on this issue Fred will be more approachable. Chief has more than enough on his plate without having to deal with every individual user's complaints.

of which I have many :p

Fred is fine IMO, but he has an undeserved bad reputation that I can relate to quite well actually. He does his role on this forum well.

What ever happened to Merv?
when he left the main board went downhill quite fast
It's just a glorified Bay 13 now

I will never, NEVER hear a bad word said about the stupidity of Adelaide fans again. I've just come from the Port vs West Coast game at Subi and the stupidity of the Eagles fans around me was ASTOUNDING.

The following is a list of the unedited comments made by those sitting around me:

*We rushed that through their goals don't they get 3 points for that?

*YESSSSS! 9 POINTS! SUPER! KERR-Y JUST KICKED A SUPER! WHAT? OH! They don't do that anymore?

*PENALISE HIM UMPY! WHERE'S OUR FREE HE KICKED IT BACKWARDS!

*FIIIIIIIFTY! FIIIIIIIIIIFTY! THAT WAS A MARK WHY WAS IT NOT PAID! (someone interjects: uh... he just caught a handball?) THAT SHOULD STILL BE A MARK!

and the oldy that I thought left in the 1800's

*CHEWY ON YOUR BOOT! MISS! MISS! MISS! MISS! LOOK DOWN AT YOUR SHOE SHULZE YOU HAVE CHEWY ON IT (Shulze goals) Oh well I'll get him next time and put him off (because apparently everytime a player misses a set shot for goal at Subi its a direct result of a 50 something Jewish woman).

and finally:

WEEEELLLL, it's the 25 minute mark of the last quarter and we're 9 points down, I said we'd lose and we did (the Quarter subsequently went for 36 minutes and the Eagles lost by 3 points).

wtf. I thought the whole of Australia had the same telecast these days
that's pathetic
I know it's live everywhere else on fox, but if it isn't on in Perth than I truely feel sorry for you

/checks AFL website just to see for himself
http://www.afl.com.au/broadcast guide/tabid/9451/default.aspx#locd=WA - Perth&round=Round 2
says you have it live at 11am on fox sports

good coverage out there
6 live, 1 on 1 hour delay (thurs night, but 6:30 is great)
but too bad you missed the shelaking at Etihad tonight

footy is, even if I have to wait an extra hour for the clocks going back. its good to have it back. first home and it’s a beautiful day outside.

Happy ‘Crows day’ everyone, oh and Easter.

How about that rain this morning. Some of the photos on AdelaideNow are crazy!
I had to drop the grandparents at the airport at 7:30 this morning, so copped the full brunt of it! Was absolutley ridiculous, at one stage on Brighton Road across from the high school, the puddle of water was that deep and big that without a four wheel drive you just couldn't go through it. Could barely see 5 metres in front of me at stages, scary and exciting stuff.

not too bad
in 06 I got stuck on the M4 in Sydney and the only stages I could see more than 2 meters infront of me was when I was going under a bridge

still on my L's at the time and it was so bad that every bridge I went under there were 3-4 cars parked on the side

Reminds me of of my favourite wet weather driving story.

I was driving my parents' car, along the Stuart Highway south of Darwin, when I got caught in a thunderstorm. It was so heavy that I could barely see 3 white lines ahead of me on the road when the wipers cleared the screen - by the time they moved back again I could barely see the far end of the bonnet. This on a road which had NO speed limit at the time - I slowed down from 100 to 80 for safety, at least one other car had pulled off the road completely. All the time I was worried about someone coming up behind me doing 150 (legal, but stupid under those conditions).

To compound matters, it was incredibly humid and the windscreen was fogging up - on the outside. As a result, I found myself driving along in the pouring rain with the temperature hovering around 30 degrees with 100% humidity... with the heater on so I could see out the front window!
