My wife works for one of the sponsors so got a gig that way. Not too much dirt to reveal as all the girls seem pretty well behaved. Howevere I did have to leave a little earlier and they did have a daquiri slushie machine so anything could of happened.

Why? Seems vaguely competent
was walking past the Rosemont today and noticed something incredible - there's a whole list of rules etc on a sign on the door. they're actually enforcing a dress code! and Saturday nights has an entry fee ... for a sports bar! does anyone know if the Rosey has new management that might have brought this on?

The producers would not have needed to do much to return the Dallas Brooks Centre to a circa late 70's look - it looks the same today!

I think she is - hard to tell though because all they show are her ****!
Blanche is played by Asher Keddie, who was in the 2nd Underbelly series. I don't recall her character as being one of those with a lot of nudity in Underbelly.

Hawke was a brilliant portrayal of who was IMO Australia's greatest Prime Minister

Made Keating out out to be nothing but a power hungry selfish freak, but history faithfully records as someone else being a womaniser and a drinker(which fits the desscription of keatings personalities portrayal)IMO of course!
Well at least you're consistantly wrong.
I thought it was shithouse and lacked any narrative structure or overarching plot and felt more like a retrospective documentary.
Things like the America's Cup win were thrown in for no reason other than to appease the stupid purely entertained by nostalgia.
Did show Hawke for the monster he was to his family ( to quote Latham Hazel was the true hero of the Hawke years) and the machine politics of the ALP NSW right in Keating and Richo which we all got a close viewing of recently.
Would have been much better if the movie had a focus somewhere such as a policy, the battle with Keating or his personal life. The attempt to tell all 3 failed misarably leaving no story adequately told, with instead a series of disjointed nostalgia pieces.

Agree, with Jo. Really needed to be a mini-series to do all of the stories justice. The problem with that is that you would probably only get viewers who bleed Labor blood to watch 6 hours of it.

Instead of pointless scenes trying to describe the relationship between the author of the book that last nights movie was based on (who also is Hawke's current wife) this summed it up beautifully in my humble opinion!
