We had 5 players Mine was done in the first quarter and I had to umpire after that went inot over time!!! Yea, its really sore now.

Think I top scored for us still tho.

Had someone argue a rule with me on court after arguing with the umpire :\, (the foot violation rule how it is changed to only delibrate now) Drew 3 blocking fouls in about 2 minutes from him. Enjoy your sit on the bench watching me take free throws. Don't argue the rules if you don't know them ;)

Feel sorry for anyone who splashed out for BDO tickets. No headliner this year in Adelaide...what a complete ****ing joke. Of course they only announce this after people have paid $175 for their tickets :rolleyes:. They want to make it a smaller show...well how about charging less. Compare the lineup to Soundwave (which costs roughly the same) and the BDO looks puny this year.

Soundwave is good this year. Looking forward to see the wave of 13 year old girls pile out of the Dasboard confessional pit as Messugah, Slipknot etc start up :)

Soundwave looks fantastic...

Problem?

All the old people are going to be there :p

Hazardous Weather Alert
The State Emergency Service (SES) advises that the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has issued a severe
thunderstorm warning for damaging wind, large hailstones and flash flooding for people living in large
parts of the State.
The Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Flinders, Mid North, Riverland, Murraylands, North East Pastoral and parts of the
Adelaide, Mount Lofty Ranges, Yorke Peninsula, Upper South East and North West Pastoral districts are
expected to be affected. This severe weather is likely to produce damaging winds with gusts in excess of 90
km/h.
In the past 24 hours emergency service crews have attended to several isolated incidents caused by strong
winds last night. The most significant being in the Waikerie and Taylorville area of the Riverland where three
SES units and three CFS brigades are continuing this afternoon to assist in repairing roofs including damage
to two piggeries where 12,000 piglets were in danger of perishing from sun exposure. Crews are working with
owners to relocate the piglets.
Despite the strong winds, there have been no reports of injuries.
For up-to-date warnings and further information on the weather forecast, please visit the Bureau of
Meteorology’s website at www.bom.gov.au.
During periods of hazardous weather, the SES advises the following precautions:
· Ensure loose items such as outdoor furniture and children’s play equipment (e.g. trampolines and
cubby houses) are put away or secured
· Park vehicles undercover or away from trees
· Stay indoors and away from windows at times when weather conditions are severe
· Stay away from fallen power lines (it should be assumed that fallen power lines are live - fallen
power lines should be reported to ETSA Utilities on 131 366)
· Keep clear of creeks and storm drains
· Don’t ride or walk through flood waters
· Consider the security of pets
· Check weather forecasts regularly and listen to local radio stations for updates.
It is also important for motorists to be vigilant and exercise additional care during periods of hazardous
weather. Motorists should:
· Be aware of any fallen trees, branches or debris
· Drive carefully on wet and slippery roads
· Never attempt to drive in floodwaters
· Be aware of emergency service workers and others who may be working on the side of the road

Hope it is not as bad as the Stockport floods around this time last year

Severe Weather Impacts Riverland
Just before 5pm today a severe thunderstorm cell caused significant damage to Riverland towns,
including Waikerie, Morgan, Barmera, Berri and Renmark. Early reports indicate that many roofs have
been removed and a high number of trees have been felled.
Local SES, CFS and MFS crews are attending to over 100 requests for assistance received so far and
the response effort is also being supported by Local Government and ETSA crews.
Additional SES and CFS resources are being sent to the area from as far afield as the Barossa Valley
and Adelaide.
SES is urging the public to be cautious in the affected areas. Downed power lines may still be live and
pose a threat to personal safety.
For storm damage assistance call SES on 132 500 and for power issues call ETSA directly on 131 366.

I'm never sure what way to think about companies that do quotes.

On one hand the people that do them quickly seem to have good customer service, but why arn't they busy?

The other side is the people that are slow at them, are they doing it because they have so much work or is it because they are dicks?

I was made redundant yesterday, and I am unemployed for the first time since I was... 15. Very strange feeling (i'm 35)

So far, I've noticed that:
- daytime television sucks;
- not having a phone is a pain in the arse (phone was a work phone);
- big redundancy payouts look cool in your bank account;
- my partner's consistent message of me never sitting down and relaxing is now being forced upon me;

I think the worst thing is, irregardless of how i feel about my employer, I'm going to miss the people I worked with :(

Damn Sydney centralisation of finance functions!! (won't work)

Is all good. Will call some recruiters next week and bounce back. But i may have to cut my beard off, which so far is the bit I'm most annoyed about (think 4-inch goatee).

Got a three day conference on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday next week, but if the Crows are training Monday or Tuesday I will have to go down for a look... and a report

Scott Thompson's sister looked pretty stunning at her wedding last night.
Bridesmades looked great themselves in their yellow dresses as well.

Found it amusing that Scott Thompson wore thongs to his sisters wedding.
