Good luck with that. In a city where people object to paying for parking, who is going to pay to read that load of filth?adelaidenow are now behind a paywall...![]()
unfortunately, all the news corp websites are now adopting the paywallIf you want to read them you can usually copy the title into google and view it from another states paper, it used to be cached into google for the Herald Sun but they have since fixed that up.
Might be a good time for a budding entrepreneur to start up a new online newspaper site since a whole bunch of web users are about to stop viewing Adelaidenow.

David Penberthy: chief Murdoch minion at the Advertiser said:If you value news, as most people do, you have to be prepared to pay a small amount for it. Otherwise, news organisations will not survive.
Can someone please explain the popularity of Krudd? Have the voters all forgotten the sheer incompetence he demonstrated during his first stint as PM? Have they forgotten that the ALP had no choice but to replace him because the public had lost faith due to the realisation that he was all spin and no substance? Is his popularity purely down to the martyr complex? What makes them think he'll be any better the 2nd time around? It really doesn't do much for the credibility of the government when they have three (or is it four now?) internal challenges during one term of leadership. Geez.
Welcome back Kevin 07.

Gillard failed dismally in connecting with the people, but she was a hell of a lot better at getting things done than Krudd. Krudd achieved nothing in his previous stint as PM, other than spinning so fast that he dropped everything he was attempting to juggle. At least Gillard has substance, Krudd has nothing but spin.
I rate Krudd as the worst PM of my lifetime. Julia is probably the 2nd worst, but distinctly better than Krudd. That says a lot, considering that I tend well to the left when voting - I loathed Howard with a passion and cannot think of anyone worse than Abbott to rule the country. We've had 7 PMs in my lifetime - 5 Labour & 2 Libs. Krudd & Julia are a clear 6th & 7th on that ladder.

Internal party politics, promising things that were never going to happen (Budget surplus), lack of personality, monotone in interviews are the reasons Labor are where they are.
Policy wise, they've done a pretty good job, but they haven't be able to sell any of their achievements.
Hopefully Ruddy can get them to a win (which still seems highly unlikely), as I despise Abbott. If it was a Turnball led opposition, I don't think I'd be too concerned.
