My pet peev is the people designing the ads make the ad move to the location on the page at the same time I’m about to scroll, so I inadvertently open the ad. It happens too often to be a coincidence. Especially prevalent when reading clickbait stories. Not sure if there's a better place to put this, but has anyone else found that Bigfooty's adverts have become almost unbearably intrusive in the last week or so?
Almost every time I load a page, it grinds to a halt a few seconds later, then completely bumps things around as it tries to load a massive advert. Often, I'm trying to click on a thread and the next thing I know, the entire forums have moved off the page altogether as a giant green background sits there loading some kind of advert. As I try to scroll down, it continues to force it's way into focus.
Is this happening for others as well? It's made browsing the forums a real chore.
Why wouldn’t a wind blow that thing. Have you seen how ridiculously loaded up it is. Catches a lot of wind I’d think.So... everyone has read about the Ever Given, the huge container ship which is currently blocking the Suez Canal. Allegedly it came to be at that crazy angle as a result of being blown off course...
Before entering the Suez Canal, the ship's Captain plotted out a course in the red sea, which plotted out the shape of a penis, balls and a bottom.

Snopes reports that this is true:

Ships that size don't just get blown around by 50kt winds. They have multiple systems on board to compensate for the effects of wind. It's just not plausible.
I can't help but wondering if the ship wasn't blown off course accidentally, but was actually an intentional act of sabotage by the ship's Captain?! If that's the case, then I'm also wondering if he/she is still actively sabotaging attempts to free the ship...
As to what their motivation may be... I have no clue whatsoever.
Ships definitely catch the wind, but they also have means of countering it - shifting water balast, thrusters, etc. Note that none of the other ships in the convoy ended up beaching themselves, despite experiencing the same weather conditions. Why wouldn’t a wind blow that thing. Have you seen how ridiculously loaded up it is. Catches a lot of wind I’d think.
I’m pretty sure you’re right though that it would have bow thruster or stern thrusters to counter side winds or manoeuvring in port.
