Struggled with injury early on in his career and early this season but has played a month of good footy now and giving great run off half back for Essendon. I always liked him, and wanted to sign him up before an Adelaide club could pinch him. Plays a bit like Lindsey Gilbee.

Whats your thoughts?

I dont think hes like Lindsey Gilbee. I do rate him though. hes one of the few players I actually enjoy to watch from Essendon. Quite a good kick.

Maybe Lindsey Gilbee when he first started his game off half back. I was having trouble thinking of a good comparison for him.

Haven't seen much of him, I don't typically bar up when it comes to half-back flankers getting stats, easiest position to play in the game.

He's an interesting one. I heard some Bombers supporters talking about how he was going to be the future of club along with Brent Stanton and so on...I didn't think he was that highly rated.

But good luck to him...Still like that Hislop kid more though!

Yeah - he looks good.
Great foot skills. I don't think I have seen him miss a target yet.

easily his best game for the club tonight..
good skills and his ability to get forward and become dangerous is something hes previously lacked

I never said he was the quality of Gilbee but in general he has been playing the same sort of role for Essendon. He could develop into our attacking half back/wing for the next 6-8 years if he keeps it up.

He doesn't win the ball in the backline.

Finds most of his footy through the midfield.
Half-back flankers that kick goals, aren't finding "easy" footy.

He is improving. Still got a long way to go. Good signs so far.
