Yeah but apparently some other teams (Richmond and North spring to mind) have their coach heavily involved in recruitment. Probably shows due to performances of Richmond in particular as apparently Hardwick, as well as Wallace before him, made the final calls on who to draft...
ok... yeah doesn't seem much of a positive if thats the case.

Was Rawlings any good as list manager of Norf?

That wasn't his job at North - he was the senior recruiting and induction coach in 2012 and 2013. Nobody here would have an inkling as to how good he was at that role.

Well, he was at Norf, that might give us an inkling. :p

So we are getting some one with no experience in the role or with WAFL? Slightly concerning?

I hope he is concentrating on the AFL not the WAFL.

A positive is that he knows the strengths and weaknesses of our List. With Vosso and others his role appears to have boundaries

Although I don't really want Petrie, if he is willing to come west as a cheap stop gap until Lycett is ready I have no problem with it. If he is still in the team when Lycett comes back there will be an issue. We had a free spot on the list this year it would have been nice to have Cox as coach / player only to fill in should the worst happen and he may have stayed somewhat fit :D

If we trade in Petrie and Conca our list will be known as "The Brady Bunch".
