No game plan besides winning ball on inside! and kicking it long! We are slow and definitely not fit!!! Our basic skills have diminished......most our players have gone backwards.....we do not tackle with intent....Charlie should not have played looked extremley underdone....Loss' s game plan has not changed adapted to the times... Just the terminology has! Camp Curnow is long overdue......I expected the loss but still hurts!

Because it doesn’t work with kids with upper management people know 1/10 positive to negative.
They switch off you can go negative but not solely it just doesn’t bring results.
Every game my kids play I give 4-5 positives and 1-2 negatives always positive first makes them more open to the negative.

Positive: Much more sustained effort and attempt to pressure tonight. Nice to see 85 tackles and sustaining that level of pressure against a classy, fast, smaller team.

Turning point: 3 goals in the second half coming from gettable misses down our end transitioned down the other end for a goal. In a 20-point game it's all it takes.
Poor execution. We need Boyd down back. I think it'll cure a lot of our ills.
Snark: I'd like to thank Mick Agresta for headhunting and Nick Austin for signing off on signing Haynes. Every man and their dog knew that he was completely washed last year. Once again tonight he's single-handily cost us 3+ goals getting the basics wrong. The sooner the CFC get rid of these two clowns and Brad Lloyd the sooner we can move forward as a football club.

We have three of the most talented players on the field with Cripps, TDK and Weiters trying to drag us back in the game but it’s hard to compete without a system.
Every oppo team stacks our forward line with bodies and shreds open our defence when rebounding. We have no answers.
We only kept up with them in the first half due to rain slowing the game down.
Oh and great to let Chol run around with no opponent for four quarters while Charlie gets triple-teamed.
Hope we get a new coach in to salvage the season before the W/L ratio gets out of hand. This time select a tactical coach and not a cheerleader.

That is such a loser mentality. We ignore any short 20m pass because if we stuff the kick it's easy for them to springboard out.
No premiership was won with such a losers game plan. That's a gameplan you give to a team who is in the bottom 4 and are trying to avoid getting belted.
Ash Hansen and Voss need to wake up - it's not working and it is just wasteful footy at this stage.

our bottom 6 tonight played as bad as I have ever seen.
It looks like the only way we have a good season from here is if Curnow, Harry and Walsh play like A graders again which at their age they should be having their best seasons yet.

I reckon we will be there abouts. In that 6-12 group. Still well in the finals race.
Although a bit like 2013 I've come to the realisation that we wont win a flag with this group, so it'll be hard to get excited about anything.

Speaking of backing in, what on earth is going on with the continued selection of Docherty? All respect to Sam but it was an outrageous decision to play him in the final, and he is clearly not up to it anymore based on all 2025 evidence (and still not subbed out).
Voss is an incredibly weak coach. He is a joke.

Love the umpires paying us 6 free kicks at the end of the game. Just so nice and fair….
It is cute that some Carlton supporters think like this. We are not in the finals race. Literally every team has the blueprint to beat us, and there's nothing we can do about it with the current 'coach' at the helm.
