1) An end to brisbane's domination of the Blues dating back to 2001. As picked up in threads here, Brisbane had won the last 8 and Carlton ended their record winning streak against us (we'd also ended Freos and WCE against us)

2) This was a record come from behind at 3/4 time victory by the Blues, beating the 30 point 3/4 time margin that we'd done 3 times in our history - 1942, 1944 and earlier in the season v. Port.

Huge game by the Blues and great to be breaking some positive records for a change.
