I don't think we will see either a sequel or a prequel.

RDR was totally different to the GTA series. The GTA series was able to continue as they swapped cities (Vice City, LIberty City ext). RDR already covered the West of America and Mexico. Leve it alone as a one off classical game.


We have GTA which is a present time game and we have RDR which is a past game. What about a game set in 2100 or something similar?

There will be a 'quel', whether that is a 'se' or a 'pre' is to be found out by us. But there will be a follow up from the Rockstar San Diego people in a wild west theme.

That game made a TON of money for Rockstar, if they didn't make a follow up game then they would be morons.

What you have to take into consideration is that RDR wasn't made by the same guys that did GTA.

I'm still waiting for Bully 2 though.

I really hope theres a sequel, I liked this a lot more than GTA4. Last 2 GTA's to me were good to start off with but then got boring, but RDR made me want to keep playing because of the awesome story line and so many things to do.
