So is it worth buying the limited edition version or just the standard one guys?
I'm heading to JB after work today to grab a copy.

Perhaps. But they are a shitload of fun.:D

How good was the double kill on each other Eskimo?!:D

Loved trolling those guys, was so ****en hilarious them thinking we chose to do it to get some XP. It's unfortunate we were doing something that is encouraged in the game to be done, shame on us.:thumbsd::)

Epic session and epic fun.:thumbsu::thumbsu:

Haha!! Another classic round of knife throwing fun! Also enjoyed setting you alight with my molotovs when you thought you were indestructible hiding ontop of that wooden windmill. And, what was with the hundreds of cougars that suddenly came from out of nowhere and ripped us all to shreds? :thumbsu: :D

BTW your random sniping of my horse whilst you were almost a kilometer away was absolutely epic! It was a big WTF moment for me just watching my horse randomly cark it from underneath me for no apparent reason. :p

I tried adding that guy who went on about muay thai fighting. He sent me a message saying "**** you douchebag and yes I am in the ADF"
I thought he was trying to be your friend at one stage lol
He didn't like HBK lol maybe because his balls havn't droped yet

So what exactly do I do in multiplayer to get better horses (Wtf is up with the Donkey?) and better weapons? Also is there a way to save my multiplayer progress or does it save automatically?

I feel like I'm starting over every time I enter free roam on Live.

Level 3 you get a malnourished horse. Something to look forward to..

If you press start in free roam your multiplayer level is on the screen or is that in stats? I'll have to check but there is a screen that has like
10-----------------------------11
Need 1,200 xp for next level etc etc
Better weapons also unlock eventually. Semi automatic pistol is cool.

Yeh donkey is slow. I waited til my mates called their horse, jumped on one of theirs so they had to call another.. Using transport stunned a few as me & my donkey were often first to the waypoint for gang hideouts. My donkey was to slow to ride n their posse & they weren't waiting around for me.

Got it today, can't wait to play it on Tuesday, stupid 360 and the "RROD"

Could someone please explain what sort of gameplay this game is? I know it's set in sort of cowboy times but is it like a shooter, adventure, action etc.

Grand theft horse.

Simplistic way to put it, but its the GTA4 engine in the wild west basically

Just beat the game.

Likewise. Well the stortline aspect of it anyway.

Hands down the most immersive game I've ever played. Actually felt myself getting emotionially attatched in many missions to what was going on.

Just an incredible game, that's all that needs to be said.

I got the game on friday, and already I've decided it's the best game on the PS3 to date.

- Love the open areas, they're one thing that was missing from GTA4 which I loved in San Andreas.
- I've spent way too much time ignoring the missions and just hunting animals and exploring, or setting my waypoint to the opposite side of the map, riding there and seeing what happens on the way.

Is this game worth getting just for the story?
I guess it depends on what you really mean by that. If you mean that you won't be going online at all and will be spending all your time on RDR offline. Then **** yeah it's worth it. If you're talking specifically "story" then others can confirm whether it would be worth it as I'm still way too early in the game to really know, despite having put in close to 15 hours already.

Since I think you're meaning more just the entire single player experience. This is one of the best that you'll get, such a vast array of things to do, TONS of mini-games, plenty of dynamic situations and a world where you can spend hours in and not have progressed through the story one single bit.
