Annoys me looking back at 1996 we won 11 straight and finished 4th and won our first final but due to the old system we're out 2nd week [emoji849]

There will be people old enough to vote next year that were born after Essendon's last finals win.

We may have had a tough season but at least (touch wood) we haven't descended to rabble levels. Given the drugs saga and lack of success in their entire lifetime, who can blame young people for not supporting Essendon?

By the way, the new incoming coach would mean they have now gone through six coaches in 15 years since the departure of Sheedy. Almost like Manchester United in a way where no successor can ever live up to the expectations set by a legendary coach.
