Agreed, mate. But I'm not an 18 year old girl in pain and looking for an outlet. Social media is what the younger generation turn to in good times and bad. They feel more connected there than using their phone to actually call someone.

Your probably right about it being a generational thing but it is still a public 1 sided comment that can have huge ramifications for both their lives. She has already been attacked online about it which is extra pressure on an already volatile situation.

No one is saying these things are ever cut and dry, but his sterling reputation being ruined is probably a bit of a stretch as an explanation here. I'd say judgements around here are incredibly reserved, given there was talk about this guy not even getting drafted due to his personal issues.

It was always a very long shot that he'd be able to adapt to a professional environment. Despite his talent i was surprised he was drafted so early.
Sumich really didnt help prepare him at all for the AFL
