So Gil states the predictable that QLD will host the AFL Grand Final with a capped attendance of 30k. Adelaide is the backup venue.

He states Perth was considered 3rd option because of the hard border. When will a journo ask the obvious question: Why didnt the AFL play all finals in Perth, and use the week off before finals as the quarantine time?

Right, new policy. Until the AFL actually take a look at themselves and try to create a fair competition that isn’t just self serving wank, we have to take a state vs state approach.

Obviously a Fremantle win tonight helps the Eagles, so I’d expect this will be a smooth transition, but I want to see unconditional love and support between all WA clubs.

I’m sorry, nobody is happy about this, but it’s the way it has to be. I will make the biggest sacrifice of all and not make a single Jesse Hogan joke until such a day as all the clubs get a halfway fair run at a competition where sporting integrity comes first and board room goals come after.

In the words of ep2018, I love Fremantle and wish them nothing but success. Do it for the good lads and lasses of WA.

These flying over the head handballs do my head in - they're more throw/sling than handball. The rules Committee need to look at it. I was taught that one hand had to be stationary, and the ball was punched with the over. These slingshots over the head are rubbish.

One thing that I hate in the modern game is how if a player takes a mark and then gets an almighty shove in the back, there's no penalty. Should be automatic 50.
