that's ****ed. Buckley's a w***er if true. collingwood need to come out and make a statement about this because if i was a member i'd be ****ing ropable.

A bit more on the Pies story.

Sounds like getting Beams in 2018 really stuffed the club up in regards to cash and then some animosity has bubbled away with other contracts. I remember after the 2018 season there was a lot of Collingwood are on the up and have great culture ect ect. BUT damm when a coach says the players dont want you its time to leave...i don't know but thats some horrible coaching and if i was Treloar i would be devo.
 
Treloar should sit tight and collect his full pay from the Pies and sit on the sidelines if he must.
Bullying a player out because you're unhappy with the size of the contract you signed him on shouldn't be acceptable. Treloar has been open about the mental health pressures of being a pro athlete so this playing out in the media like this is even more unacceptable.

What's worse is if they're rewarded with a top10 pick by a dumb acquiring club. A team like North should offer to take him off their books for a token 3rd rounder.

Fremantle (unfortunately) have a good one in Longmuir.

Cleaning out the distractions and getting the culture right off the field, which will have positive impacts on the field.

Hogan out will undoubtedly benefit them, as it provides currency to procure someone else who will improve the team in exchange for someone who has offered nothing but a sideshow.

The appointment of Corey as an assistant to their developing midfield cannot be understated either.

If they have a good turn with injuries, they will play finals next year.

With how desperate they seem to kick him out the door, any club offering a top 10 pick should fold.

They've completely destroyed any value he may have had, unbelievably incompetent management imo

“Absolute fact”...news to me Sam. The constant rumour and innuendo is disrespectful to Adam, the club and our supporters. We’ll continue to communicate directly and sensitively with Adz and his management. FYI, our leaders don’t sit on list management, it’s not their job.

I'm not sold. Jlo has done good to get rid of half the list, but he needs to coach them into winning games now. It'll be tough slog for them I reckon. Gotta go backwards to go forwards etc etc.

Not exactly an outright denial is it?
 
There’s not enough server space to withstand the amount of bumped posts of me slandering the Jesse Hogan deal, but I’m very glad to take the victory lap in this one.

Neale just won a Brownlow and their return from it is now out the door. Was clear as day Hogan wasn’t who people claimed he would be after a decent spell on the receiving end of one of the greatest midfield seasons in league history, his head is gone and now his body isn’t far behind.

Thrilled we didn’t go near him and happy to once again be on the right side of history. All the luck.

I've had my Docker mates melting over how badly the Hogan trade has worked out for them. I'm like, WTF did you expect? It's not like all of the warning signs weren't there at the time.

Their “era” is beginning now remember. And we WCE will slip quietly into the night, into irrelevance :(

What a cluster fu(k the Hogan sage has been for The Violet Crumbles.

Traded picks 6 & 23 for Hogan and lost Neale to get those picks.

Good to see the resplendent feather in his cap for Peter Bell.
