My first thought was this could go pear shaped similar to Bucks and Mick but with that situation they had come off a flag so Mick felt like he wanted to stick around a few more years. With Hawks they are way off and it lets Clarko do his thing and let Mitch take over while Clarko prob ends up another club in 2023 ( Money would be GC, GWS or even North)

Yeah AFL will cough up some cash to get Clarko to a struggling club. Any idea how long Leon Cameron signed on for? Two more years of elite draft picks then plug him in there.

That has the makings of disaster written all over it. I think Smitch has the tools to be a great coach, but I think Hawthorn was exactly the wrong club to do it with. We've seen how that can go a few times now, haven't we?

Nah, wouldn't surprise me if he was the one who instigated it. Probably take up some cushy role at AFL house or an expansion club.
