Sydney have wins at Gabba, MDMA, MCG (Tigers), Marvel (Dogs) this year. Melbourne holds no fears for them. They will rue losses to GC and Hawks, but everyone has dropped sitters this year.

Love how they go about it, and a big outsider, more so than us in 2015 and 2018. Might be building at the right time.

The potential issue that Sydney may face is the COVID situation… As it stands now, they won’t be going back to NSW anytime soon (likely for the rest of the season). They have a heap of guys who have partners and kids back in Sydney. And apparently, the idea of of them coming to Melbourne and doing two weeks quarantine is not palatable. Something may have to give… they may fall away towards the end of the season if the senior players choose to go back to NSW.
