Tarrant is part of the solution and enhancement to the forward setup.

Murphy will be a real improver in 2007 given his exposure this year, I just hope he gets the opportunities.

Pav has alot of thinking to do and this is part of the reason the captaincy issue hasnt been resolved as yet, but we'll know the answer soon.

It is not unusual for Captain's to be announced quite close to the start of the season, and I think this is a good thing.It invites people with leadership ability to step up, and whether they get the captaincy or Vice captaincy is not really an issue; they have a chance to be considered. But most people would be astonished if Pav was not appointed.

As for replacing Pav, a tall mobile, marking player who can play in the forward line is a sought after commodity, regardless of whether Pav is in the list or not. Recruit the best player available, and trade to improve the list.

Personally, I think the guy everyone will be lauding next year will be Murphy. You don't kick 70+ goals in the WAFL as an 18 year old without having some serious talent. If he can consistently produce this season's form he is another 50 goal a year forward.

More talented than Johnson and Mundy IMO.

it will be interesting to see what role Pav plays now that Tarrant's in the side
