Could someone please explain the Reputation Points System to me here?

I've lost reputation points over the past week and I find that hilarious....
(fair enough if I'm talking bs......but now I'm "an unknown quanity" lol

What are my options?....what can I achieve?....

Option A: Set up say 4 email addys.....(say 2x Hotmail & 2x Yahoo)
and vote for myself over and over again til I become a Big Footy Demi-God..or

Option B: Hope my reputation goes down to zero and I cross over to
the 'dark side'...thus becoming a Big Footy outlaw.

so my dilemma is......do I want to be know as Mother Theresa or Ned Kelly ?

Gee, Big Footy makes my life difficult sometimes !

(I'm just a simple man who wants the Tiges to win a flag)

btw....who's got the best reputation on all the Big Footy.com boards...
I wouldn't trust that person as far as I could throw him or her !!!

I didn`t know that there were reputation points , how do you find out where you stand?

apparently moderators are the only ones who can give bad reputation. its a bit of a farce imo, since the only way i think you can get good reputation is to log in as another name and vote for yourself, (it does work, i tried it - once just to see if it would work) no one ever gives me any and i assume its pretty much the same for others (or am i full of crap?).

Actually everybody,
Groves reset all the reputations and now you can choose whether you approve or disapprove a post.
More disapproved=Red rep
More approved=Increasing green reps.

So now we can all have a say.

Personally, I dont care if I have the worst reputation points on BigFooty. I also dont care if I have the most reputation points.

What Id rather see is this waste of space (reputation) gone. And, in replace of it, no server messages.

BigFooty will never be how it used to be.
