Freo to wear a throw back 1995 inspired home guernsey against Essendon. It looks amazing. I miss this jumper.

What’s everyone else’s thoughts- yes or no? Should we use it more or does it dilute our ‘brand’.

Needs a collar. Would look sick with a collar.

Surprising to see us finally embrace the old design and the old unique history of the club. Would have been really cool to utilise the green jumper – I think most fans look at it fondly – for Melbourne away games this season.
 
Retro round used to be the white with three red chevrons, with the black shorts. While I liked the fact we were paying homage to the original FFC from the 1890s, it’s great that we now have a retro that represents the current club as it stands now.

I agree with including the collar and think they should go one step further and have woollen ones. I wonder if today’s modern players would cope? 😂

Would look over the top. Actually like this refined retro look.
Definitely fits into our current model. Class and simple

I can't wait to see the boys wear this later in the year. It looks awesome and really well made. Will look to order one soon most likely.

Same here, it's getting me all nostalgic!! This is the jumper i grew up watching Freo players wear, this is the jumper that was worn as i fell in love with the game and the Fremantle Dockers, and now in this season that has such a special feel to it we get to watch these players represent this jumper! :heart:
 
Wish they did the 3D away anchor style ala 1999. Even that as retro would sell. The possibility of having a home purple and white anchor guernesy would be delicious. But think the marketing department wouldn’t risk it, the Freo fans would probably overwhelmingly vote and buy it to have it as the permanent design in the future. They know it would

Hands off McCarthy, I've already set my eyes on his guernsey if he plays ;)



This is sick though, Heritage round should be brought back so we can use our other guernseys through different years

Love this!!!! I wonder if they’ll bring out a retro range of beanies and scarves (I am a strict beanie/scarf wearer to the footy)- I’ve been hunting a purple, green and red beanie for ages!!
