Hi Pies fans good luck for the weekend i hope you blokes get through and beat the cats on the big stage would love to see you guys get there and have a massive grand final!

anyway ive been thinking lately with the form of your forwards in recent weeks dawes anthony medhurst cloke and with rocca and didak to come back in is there enough room for a couple of blokes like Ben Reid or Sean Rusling i know Rus has had shocking luck with his shoulders and i think Reid has had some injuries too he was rated very highly as an under 18 i think he went pick 8 didnt he (the tarrant pick?) in the super draft which a few of the KPP from that draft have massive futures i believe. (gumbleton hansen leunberger riewoldt etc.)

With the Pies needing another 1st rounder to secure Kerr and the fact that most of you want to Hold on to Didak do you think

Pick 8 for Rusling and Reid

Would be fair for both parties or am i dreaming
Ill run it on the richmond board and see the response i get there
will be intersting to see the 2 views

It's actually relatively fair, even though Reid was taken at pick 8, Rusling doesn't really have much value on his own. We do have an excess of KPP forwards, but right now, no body can honestly say how they will work out. So if we were to trade Reid and Rusling, and then Dawes didn't come along as well as we hoped, it would be a big loss for us.

It's just too big a risk for me, we don't know how any of our KPP forwards are going to turn out. But i wouldn't be too upset if we were to get Kerr. :p

no chance. you would definitely have to add something to that for us to consider.

if it was pick 8 and your 2nd/3rd rounder for example then you would have a better chance..

What Player will Richmond Throw in?

Pick 8 and upgrade our third round pick to your second round pick and I'd be very tempted.

Trades like these never happen though.

I think Rusling's injury prone status makes him trade bait.

He's virtually missed two seasons to injury. A great shame, but we can't keep paying for a kid that's injured.

But how much would he be worth? Which club would take an injury prone forward? I don't think Richmond is that desperate.

So to some up we'de givepick 8 rusling reidand didak just to get kerr. HAHAHA THATS FOUR PLAYERS!!!

Don't think the OP ever mentioned anything about offloading Didak. I think he was saying that with this deal we can add an extra first rounder to the deal, being one < 10 to go along with the one we would already have in the 11-14 range.

So Pies give Pick 8 and 11-14 to WC for Kerr. Don't know if this alone would get it done, maybe add a Shannon Cox.

If it guartantees getting Kerr, then send the paperwork asap and show me where to sign

tambling would actually be a brilliant acquisition to our midfield
he would be the only one with some speed!
I'm assuming you're joking, but we've actually added quite a bit of speed to our midfield in the last year or so. McCarthy/Wellingham/Cook and potentially Thomas are all quick-to-very-quick. Swan is also deceptively quick, and Leon is playing more midfield and is obviously quick.

The problem is that our major contested ball winners in Burns and O'Bree are pretty slow.
