I'm not 100% sure but I think the last time we beat Richmond in Melbourne the game was played at the G. We haven't played them at that venue since then. I was there that day and boy was it great. The Richmond ferals were having a field day giving Roo a hard time but we had the last laugh. We showed in Round 2 that we enjoy playing at the G. We've played there rarely in the past few seasons, in fact last year most of our away games in Melbourne were played at the smaller ground Colonial. The G suits our style of play especially our tank Troy. I hope he goes out there on saturday and kicks a bag of goals. It would be a fantastic feeling to once again see the feral supporters over here with long faces. Everyone over here is confident the boys will get over the line so we can enjoy what you guys have over there, that winning feeling. Here's hoping. Kodie

Michael "Disco" Roach?

**** thats going back a long way, no wonder youre calling people kiddies.

Think ive got an old footy card somewhere with him on it actually.

They'll get stafford back probably, which will free up ottens, but when you look at their mid field I really only see one or two players we'll have to worry about, what'd you guys think?

As for calling us richmond supporters feral - you should go off to the room of mirrors , & take a good hard look.
As for the game looks like a wet day & a hard slog.
Don't forget the raincoat might be sticky on the seat.:D :p

Disco We're not wrong the message stated that the last time we beat Richmond in Melbourne the game was played at the G. This was in 96 and we have not won over here since. We are well overdue to beat you here. We haven't play you at the G since so we will definately be in with a real chance to improve our record against you in Melbourne. The last time we beat you at home was in 1998. It has to be remember that with the draw being the way it is we've only played you twice in as season on a couple of occasions in recent times. Regardless of wether Stafford plays or not I'm sure that every eagle supporter on this board is confident that we will break the drought this week. Kodie

Yep, that was Sydneys' game plan too. Looks like the WCE attitude could be our biggest advantage.

I think the difference is that both Richmond and Sydney's midfield is ordinary while West Coast's midfield is probably the best part of its side to be honest, there's plenty of run and goals there.

Where is WC on the ladder?

8th

Oh, and where's Richmond?

11th...

Poor poor Richmond...

Oh, and missing Gardiner and Peter Matera didn't hurt either?

our forward line was small and lacked a target and you still couldnt win.

mellowyellow, what do you call this then? Now who is making excuses.

Must say, you Richmond lot are living up to your reputation. None of you are very gracious victors...
