I've just been looking over the Rising Star odds and was wondering who/if anybody was planning on taking a punt on any Eagles lads?

SELWOOD, Scott (WCE)13.00
NAITANUI, Nicholas (WCE)15.00
MASTEN, Chris (WCE)21.00
SWIFT, Tom (WCE)41.00
BROWN, Mitchell (WCE)51.00
SHUEY, Luke (WCE)51.00
SMITH, Ashley (WCE)71.00
HOULIHAN, Tim (WCE)201.00

with the reports swift is doing full trianing I would be leaning that way at $41.00

Masten.

Into his second year so he has an advantage there, I can't see Naita playing enough games to be considered, although he will definately attract attention. Mitch Brown is a good shot as well, but as a KPP might struggle.

Scott Selwood is too short, Tom Swift could be a smokey if he plays most of the season, Houlihan is a good player but i can't see him attracting too many votes.

Nobody has mentioned Brown? Brown at $51 is a great bet.

But yeah... Masten at $21 is very nice too.

Why is Scooter at 13 bucks?

Although Riewoldt got the nod over Judd... I remember being dirty about, but now I don't care so much :D

Luke Shuey: Strong body, comes across with no injuries, as a junior he performed very well at every level. Looks a gun mid in the making

If he gets a go early, I can see him doing very well and playing a fair few games.......................................................... no pressure Luke:p

the head says that masten should do well. but the heart just wants swift to dominate and win every award that he can. show that he definently was worth the gamble and a bloody steal at 20!

I like the way S Selwood goes about his game. If he doesnt this year, I would imagine he would get plenty year after....

Its really between Masten/Naitanui/Swift. I would put $20 on each. Whats the worst that could happen. Lose $60? :)

But as one, i accidently voted Selwood but would probably go with Swift. Just based on the fact hes the only one doing full training...

Hmm... I wouldn't expect Nait-dawg to play more than 10 games this year.

If Swift stays injury free and continues to train full sessions with the seniors then I'd say he is a huge chance. Such a bargain at 20 isn't he?

But Masten will win it. ;)

I am going for swift and masten and to cover myself putting a bet on daniel rich. go WA:thumbsu:
