I am not convinced on Baker as a mid yet. I could see how pinch hit efforts could work in the right scenarios though

I know Ross played well on Saturday, but his going to ground while contesting the ball with a Geelong opponent at the ball up following Rioli's goal, was sub standard especially given the state of the game. No way that Geelong player would have got clear if it was Baker instead of Ross in that contest.

I tell you what. Baker was probably most influencial in this game as a mid in the moments of any of his matches so far especially centre bounce.

Do people agree?

This happens to be the same game unfortunately Prestia went off.

So I think they are not like for like but I think n terms of mid mixes Baker can have a influence when Prestia is not part of the centre bounce not as a like for like but a guy whose proficiency is quickness, ground ball and courage can be utilised as part of the centre bounce combo
