Naitanui looked a problem and he certainly was. Surely our mids could have manned up in the centre. We knew we were going to lose the hitout and no one hits to advantage better than Nic.

Thought George did well early but as the game went on the errors were pretty costly, especially the one that led to Petrucelli’s goal. Pretty poor, that was.

Josh Gibcus had a couple of kicks he’d like to have again. They were shockers.

And Vlastuin: what was going on there. He had a shocker, complete with the late 50m brain fade.

Eagles are improving and had a point to prove after we embarrassed them on their home deck. I will take the win but our defence has been poor all year. We leaked too many easy goals against Geelong and Sydney which has cost us top 4. If our defence can improve before the finals we give ourselves a chance

Really need to fix the intensity when playing the lower teams, to often we start soft and allow crap teams to push us.

Got the 4 points move on simple eagles a not easy beats no more cats had same issue shrugging them off also , but defence needs to be better and our the lapses continue.

Gibcus needs a rest and George seen nothing in improvement. Still carrying a few passengers for me.
