I think Rachele deserved it. A close game, in which he had an influence as opposed to a game blown out, that the Cats wouldn't have been too fussed about a 1st gamer who couldn't have an influence on the game. Sure he kicked 5 goals but the game was over with 3 goals kicked in the last qtr when the Bombers were down by about 80 points. Almost all uncontested and 0 tackles which shows the Cats just didn't care and let him run wide.

Rachele had almost half his possessions contested, with 3 tackles and was instrumental in bringing the Crows back into the game in the second half. Metres gain was also similar with almost half the touches.

Very stiff methinks.

Yeah shows the importance of actually watching the game as opposed to reading stat lines. Let's see what Martin does next week.

But, I wouldn't have been disappointed if Rachele, Daicos or Horne-Francis had got it either.
