Sutty should get dropped for his pansy like effort at a 50/50 contest midway through the last qtr.

Mayne should be in his ear about team before self.

Sutty was ordinary tonight and has been below par for most the season.

There is not the alternative at the moment for playing on small forwards with Sutty out as they like the options Sheridan gives playing mid and defence. No doubt he isn't playing to the level last year but would be very surprised if he was dropped. Grey just isn't doing enough at Peel and there are no other options with the speed and agility on small forwards from other sides.

You wouldn't play Mzu on the smalls. You'd get sutty and Duff man to play tighter and deeper and get Mzu to play his roaming wing type role. Might use Clancee slightly differently if you have to too.

He played as a hb for Perth when he was recruited, so he'll be fine. What's happened to Spurr??

Yeah, agree. I actually was saying to a Freo friend of mine a few weeks back, that if there's one game I would want him for is the Richmond game. They are becoming a bit more 'rounded in the midfield type players, but they still are a massively better team with Lids playing and in touch - you take him out of the game, and they become significantly weaker. Maybe RTB will pull out his tagging option and give Clancee the job. He did OK against Boak in Rnd1, until he was let off the leash in the last 1/4.

Totally different players, he's a much purer footballer than Dangerfield and a beautiful kick. If you had to concede one of the two of them 38 touches in a game against you you'd choose Dangerfield every single time

You mean Sandilands broke the record, as Clarkes only had 12.

For a tall thats an athlete 1 disposal isnt acceptable. Even Tabs managed something and he doesnt have the flexibility or experience of Clarke.

The conditions were terrible for talls and Clarke has been great all year. He's the form 2nd ruckman in the league. He isn't getting dropped.

Agree that Clarke has stepped it up this year and will not be dropped, but that was a real stinker of a game that reminded me of the bad old days.
