After watching the replay and being at the game, we clearly had a few under performers. I think we need some fresh legs after that slogfest as well so it works out OK. Clarke and Tabs stay although they were poor although if it is going to be wet I'd prefer Tabs out.

Outs: Duff, Sutcliffe and Tabs (if wet)
Ins: Mzungu, Weller and Deboer (If wet)

Even though we won I think we still need to get some extra run in against the Tiges. Duff and Suts have struggled the past few weeks and Richmond don't have dangerous small Fwds, so it is a good week to bring in a few.

Not sure why so many people want to drop Tabs when it's wet. For a tall forward he is extremely good at ground level, and set up 2 goals from ground level in the first half. He's much better suited to wet weather footy than most KPFs. What we really want to address is why we kept putting it on his head all game.

The first 2 goals of the game before it rained. Not that I want to drop him, simply because there isnt really anyone else in the squad that has his particular strengths.

D.Pearce's game was pretty good in the circumstances I thought, a few moments where he did his fumbly sloppy kicking thing, but mostly he was very in the game and influential for the good of the team. His work rate was massive.

Kind of disagree with you. He fumbled more than most. His disposals were generally poor and he had on attack on the contest in the last quarter when he seemed to have just given up. I'd bring in Blakely for him next week.

The Pearce hate is ridiculous around here.

Has had a terrific year thus far, he is going knowhere.

Our first look at Friday night footy so these changes:

In: Free To Air.
Out: Pay TV.

In: Fremantle.
Out: Carlton.

In: My couch.
Out: The pub.

Was agreeing with you up until you suggested dropping him, and especially for Blakely. He was off on Sat night but he has been good all year so we can't drop him after one poor game. Especially as I think we'll need plenty of speed or mobility against the Tigers and replacing him with Blakely would be a step backwards in that area. If anyone can replace him it'd be Weller.

I umderstand our need for run against the Tiges and Weller might be the option..Just was disappointed with Pearce on the weekend.

D. Pearce was one of our best players on Saturday. Indeed he was named as one of our best players.

From our website:

BEST
Adelaide: Dangerfield, Thompson, Lever, Laird, Ellis-Yolmen, Cheney
Fremantle: Fyfe, Sandilands, Mundy, Pearce, Barlow, Walters

I just don't flipping care how it comes about anymore.... but
Bring back Tendai now!!!

Which Pearce?

Spurr was a bit unlucky. He did an excellent job Betts. Kept him to one goal. The other was a free against Sutcliffe

Sutcliffe would be my pick. Doubt RTB is dropping Sutty though.
I'd agree. A fit Tendai gives us grunt and good run from defence.

Sutty isn't the new Zac, is he ?

I think hes a very good player, though he has some certain weaknesses that could cause us some serious issues down the track in Sept/Oct.

Sutty has been poor this season but we know what he's capable of. I don't see RTB dropping him and I wouldn't want to either.

spurr mcpharlin ibbotson
duffield johnson c pearce

rotating hill, d pearce, suban mzungu sheridan.

We will probably hear Ross saying how good sutty has been on 6pr tonight, so it is all irrelevant. Its hard to know what is expected of him really. I just don't like the fact that a player who appears to be playing poorly (by some of our estimations) stays in the team and keeps proven performers out, just because he was good last year or he hasn't been totally useless. Just a different philosophy. Doubt Ross cares about my philosophy though.:)

We've tagged delideo to within an inch of his life every time previous with Creepy..I reckon Clancee gets his second tagging assignment of 2015 this week
Deledio is definetely our most important and damaging player.
Stats this year are something like we've won 4 out of 5 he's played, and lost 3 out of 4 he's missed. Was a similar story last year when he missed about 4-6 weeks, don't think we won more than 1 in that time, and no suprise that on our 9 game win streak to make finals, Deledio was probably our best player during that stretch.

Interested to see who pulls up sore from Saturday's game. Could be quite a few feeling worse for wear.

All things considered I'll doubt we'll make any changes if everybody is fit. Duff and Sutty will be coming under increasing pressure to perform though.

Can see changes after this week's game. Got the bye after Gold Coast so a great chance to give those older bodies a two week break. MJ and Pav are surely up for one and as well as Sandi. We have Dawson, Croizer, Mzungu, Hannath and de Boer to cover those needing it around the next few weeks so it's handy to have.
