Got a few questions on who I should start this week.

Tippet vs Melbourne or Mckinley vs Coll

Nathan J Brown vs W.C or Wilkes vs Coll

Wellingham vs W.C or Palmer vs Port

Tippett
N J Brown
Palmer is the better scorer overall, but it's been suggested that none other then Kornes will pick him up. So maybe Wellingham....

Hey guys just wanting your thoughts on this trade
Out Ibbo, Palmer
In Ladson, Corey

I have enough money to do it. I no ibbo and palmer haven't peaked but that trade is really temptimg??
I too was thinking of Laddo, but just saw that McLeod will more than likely drop to sub-$400k next week, am probably gonna go him instead.

I'd hang onto those 2 cows for a bit longer.
Was thinking of downgrading Palmer to Cotchin to sit on the bench, or should I downgrade Stevens and play Palmer on the field?

Current Midfield of;
Ablett, Dal Santo, Mitchell, Cooney, Priddis and Stevens with Palmer and Morton on the bench.

Need to downgrade one in order to upgrade Wonaeamirri to Shaw.

Any thoughts?

Probably Palmer, if I had to choose. I had the same dilemma last week, played Stevens on the bench, and watched him outscore my entire midfield.:thumbsd:

I think this week I'll go Selwood>>Cotchin, then Gamble>>ROK.

should i trade Charlie Gardiner? if so who to?

heres my team tell me what i should do
Backs
P.Burgoyne Barry Wirrpanda Kennelly S.Stevens Hunt Rutten (E)Myers Selwood
Mids
Cooney Judd Ling Stevens Dal Santo S.Black (E) Masten Crotchin
Rucks
Sandilands Simmonds (E) Kruezer Van Rheenen
Forward
Franklin Murphy J.Brown Roughead Didak S.Welsh Gardiner (E) Gumbelton Valenti

I'm also interested in what people think of the Ladson - PBurgoyne question.

Burgoyne has been very consistent and could step it up; Ladson I don't know well. On stats he looks to have had a good season other than r7. Looks to be able to score well without getting huge numbers of possessions...

I'm leaning towards Burgoyne at this stage, but would like to hear other opinions?

I have Ladson and is very reliable.

Hits targets and runs forward for the odd goal.

Rebounds from D50 often.

interesting.... i was looking into this aswell.

Mattner seems to suffer when kennelly plays well
the other i was looking at was Newman who seems to be finding form.

do you still think Ladson is the best choice out of these or any other back for around 460k ?

some interesting happenings going on this week,

in the bargain power forward section we have the big Q and steve johnson. Both have dropped TREMENDOUSLY and there sufficient backing to the supposition that both could have a turn around mid year. The big Q, however, is far less attractive trade compared to johnson. West Coasts forwardline struggles to pose any real threat, as a consequence the big Q is targetted, has limited options, and very infrequnetly gets the ball - in short - wait for him to reach 320 or have an ^up game (90/100+). Once Kerr and Hurn, Waters get back the team, functionally, will stabilise greatly, expect his average to rise by 20.
(I dont know what the hell ashley hansens doing but hes another player who helps the Q a lot, that call up will do big things...)

It is simply inexplicable how steve johnson has failed to retain last years form, geelong have hardleading talented forward-midfield combination and yet steve-o still struggles to post the big 90's/100's. Any time now he will come back in flying colours, put my house on it.

I have Newman also.

Tbh honest I tossed and turned on Ladson versus Hunter all preseason.

Followed my stupid heart and went Hunter then wham he did his knee and in came Rick, 20K more than what he was at the start :o

Ladson is value imo.

And there is Goddard...

What is the better option?
I really want J.Brown

Rioli-Brown and Hayden-Mattner/Gilbee
Or
Roughead-Brown and Hayden-Burgoyne/Waite/Birchall
With Hayden out for a few weeks i need
to get him out and not play myers on the field

I feel your pain, i also had hunter at he start of the season.
Goddard seems a safe bet with the lowest score for the season being 70,
but i hate st kilda.......
what to do....

Ok I am thinking of dowgrading to Cotchin but who do I downgrade?? Houli or Wonna. Both are of simular price & B/E's.
Also for my 2nd trade this week what do you think of upgrading S.J. to someone like ROK/Richo/Pav.
This is how my team looks atm.

Backs - H.Shaw , Waite , Bradshaw , Mattner , Newman , B.Jones & Chornes (emerg. SDT & Myers)
Centre - Ablett , Bartel , Cross , Stevens , Palmer & Wellingham (emerg.Houli & Wonna)
Ruck - Cox & J.White (emerg. West & Deluca)
Forward - Franklin , Burton , Porps , Rioli , J.Brown , S.J. & Tippett (emerg. Gamble & Valenti)

11 Trades Left and $297,400 in the bank

I want to get rid of Osborne and Gram from my backline. Going to get Macca in when he bottoms out. Still need to pick another defender to get though. Was thinking about taking a gamble on Drummond, but that would give me 6 lions. Is this too many? My team would look like:

Backs: Joel MacDonald, Josh Drummond (Albert Proud)
Centres: Jed Adcock
Forwards: Jonathan Brown, Daniel Bradshaw

Should i be taking into account the fact that Drummond is another lion, or should i just be looking at the numbers? J-Mac and Drummond proved last weekend that they can both rack up big scores while playing together (116 & 154). Wonder if this will be a semi-regular thing though... hmmm.

Not able to afford Stiffy.. So if it isn't Drummond, I'll probably go with Ladson... (Chornes, Shaw, Mattner, Gilbee & SDT make up the rest of my backline. 12 trades remaining)

So my question is, should i get Drummond (fair bit more expensive, had a bad run with injuries, would give me 6 lions) or Ladson?

If a player can get 154, and as seen last year a 227, I don't think it matters what team he comes from. The only reason not to get Drummond is if you're afraid of him getting injured again.

Which I am afraid of... Think I may take the gamble though and bring him in; his ceiling is huge (first year of SC; didn't realise he got a 227 last year ). Cheers Fog.

Im expecting Bird to be dropped.

Wona ------> Goddard

Bird------> Cotchin.

Chappy and Masten on bench.

Leaves me with 8 trades, $254,100K in the kitty.

Masten/Ebert to Bartel week after.

7 trades left with 7th back to upgrade.

Sounds good I like.
