Vascular?? He is not an 80 year old man. How would a 31yo elite athlete have vascular issues? Unless it's a knock on effect from a collision other serious injury or a medical issue with some other cause???
So, I am guessing you are a cardio vasucular specialist with first hand knowledge of Elliots injury? LMFAO I have seen some ridiclulous posts , but man, yours is right up there, Why do u have to be 80 yeasr to a have a vascualr medical issue? The term used is so general, but really, they didnt make it up, they are just relaying the medical experts diagnosis,m you lnow the ones with10+ yeasr of medical training and experience...

Yes.
Unless it's related to an injury or underlying or secondary condition. No way a 31yo afl player has vascular issues
Another "medical expert" , you have been cardio vascular consulting for how long? LMFAO, of course the medical staff are lying just to keep you in the dark , and posting more ridicloulous comments on BF!! Get a grip!

As a doctor, I have no idea what he's on about. Just joking of course, I barely completed year 11

Mitchell at his best is makes us better. Sullivan to me is the perfect medium term replacement for Mitchell and has more flexibility. He isnt your typical 2 gamer he is ready made and done his dues in the VFL.

Sullivan isnt in our best 23 now but come rd 24 it wouldn't surprise me if has broken into it.
Mitchell is indeed critical, and needs to be fit for finals. Absolutely doesn’t play unless 100%

I’d be bringing Kruger and Dean for Howe.

Schultz earns his recall.

If we are short a midfield rotation throw Schultz or Maynard in for periods.

Plantar fasciitis is a bastard.
I've had episodes of it.
You get up in the morning and you can barely walk, let alone run.
it settles when it settles, unfortunately.
Hopefully, for Titch, it will resolve quickly.

Yes, I’ve had it too. About a million calf raises did the trick for me.

Ideally, at least one of Mitchell and Jordy return. Prediction is Titch makes it and Jordy doesn't.

OUT: Howe, Harrison, Bytel
IN: Dean, Schultz, Mitchell

Won't be shocked if we decide Frampton, Moore and Maynard is enough to cover their three talls, but really think it's a good learning experience for Dean. Our best in the VFL last week, is OOC and I'm not sure how many more chances he'll get.

Agree with posts a few pages ago - Richards faded hard as the game went on. I'd probably start him as sub and give him a chance to make a big impact with fresh legs in the second half.

B: Brayden Maynard - Billy Frampton - Charlie Dean
HB: John Noble - Darcy Moore - Isaac Quaynor
C: Josh Daicos - Scott Pendlebury - Steele Sidebottom
HF: Lachie Schultz - Reef McInnes - Patrick Lipinski
F: Bobby Hill - Mason Cox - Will Hoskin-Elliott
R: Darcy Cameron - Nick Daicos - Jack Crisp
I: Oleg Markov - Tom Mitchell - Finlay Macrae - Lachie Sullivan
Sub: Joe Richards

If neither Mitchell nor De Goey get up, I'd reluctantly play Kreuger

Just knowing he has genuine pace and a heart as big as his body is a huge plus. He also seemed poised and calm every time he got his hands on the pill. His decision making was outstanding.
I heard before the game that apparently he can take a decent mark too.

Dean LMFAO .. seriously in for ? doing what spudding it up ? Fly has already said Mcreery gone for one more week, Elliot probably same, De goey is still in rehab . so Schultz and maybe Mitchell, hmm, nah, no big calls ...
For being our best VFL player on a consistent basis.

Elliott is gone for longer than one week, and De Goey is in the same boat as Mitchell. Pay more attention

He had 27 disposals and like 9 or 10 intercept marks on the weekend. Judging him based on a couple of early games where he had a trial by fire while our whole team was spudding it up is unfair.

I’m not so worried about that. As a debutant, he won’t know how to manage his energy levels at the AFL level. The coaches would normally help manage it by rotating him through the bench, but given we were two players down on the bench (three at times), their ability to do that would have been limited. Especially as we had other inexperienced players to also manage.

Both Jordy and Mitchell are tests this week, so there’s probably a 50/50 chance that both of them play. It will be interesting to hear the training reports this week.

Not sure we should risk either of them if they're not 100%.

Long term not sure it helps us

Especially as we have a 6 day break with travel to Perth the following round.

If we only select players who are 100% fit, we wouldn’t be able to field a side.

How about we just trust Wade to make the correct call?

Dean has been good the past couple of weeks. I love how people like to bag this guy, considering he's coming back from not playing footy for practically 2 years due to his foot issue. I would consider he's looking very promising considering how far back he's coming from ....
Elliott is gone for 3 weeks, l wouldn't be surprised if its more 4 to 5 weeks, considering his training is modified for the next 3 weeks.
DeGoey completed a 10km running session, so you would say he's 70 to 75% as of today to return, same for Mitchell....

De Goey in particular is too important to our chances this year to risk him if he's not 100%. Even the faux 100% that most footballers are.

I doubt he's even remotely close to even fake 100% given his injury and how long it seems to have been affecting him

He "MAY" be promising .. but that doesnt mean he gets promoted to AFL side... we dont play promising players, we play players that fit the role , can play the role, demonstrate that in teh VFL and are ready and in form.

JDG supposedly did a 10km running sesh on Saturday so unless he's pulled up no good, then you'd think he's good to go.

Titch they might look to give another week or 2. He'll be crucial for us v sides like the Dogs, Dees etc with bigger bodied mids.

How well did it go for us at the start of the year picking underdone players?
Given almost the entire side were under done, we had little choice.
If De Goey is selected, it will be because he is ready to play.
