Its not about taking Ryan out, its about letting Hewett and Reid have a bit more freedom not having to be first in trying to get the hard balls.
I want those two to have the opportunity to do what Ryan was doing.
Not just that, with Crippa out we will need more of Ryans goal kicking skill and pressure to cover for what we will be missing without Crippa. Yes there are a few others but Crippa and Ryan are in a class of their own.

Yeah good changes.

Hope Oscar plays forward.

I think he starts forward and becomes an option to shift him back if Edwards and/or Brock are being overwhelmed

Adelaide have the tree pronged talls with Thiltorphe, Fogarty and Walker

Either Oscar goes back to help, or it means Ginbey/Maric is playing as a tall

Edwards on Thilthorpe
Brock on Walker
Ginbey has the capacity to play on Fogarty

I think that if anything hall would be replacing some of Graham's CBAs. High impact short burst players like Ryan aren't great swaps for Hall. Ryan and Brockman can't maintain 50+% CBAs and Hewett is probably better in the 50-60% range with time up front. I think thats what Hall would offer. Take 2-3 CBAs off pretty much everyone except for Brockman and Ryan so the midfield is more dynamic and less predictable.

Slight chance we've decided to pull Hough out of the midfield and get him to do a job on someone. Which would probably make the Hall choice easier.
I know the final teams are out so we know more or less whats happening, but my thoughts were to let Hewett/Reid play with freedom like Ryan was doing, rather than being bogged down with having to be first to the ball all the time.

The guy Hough wouldve matched up on in the Crows fwd(Rankine) line plays midfield now btw, Hough should stay in the middle

Interesting to see how we handle this. Ginbey could step up?

Fogarty and Walker both have a knack of playing well against us, so it's going to be a big task for him

You assume Harry gets the man mountain in Thilthorpe
