Surely Dawson won't go, his only indiscretion was that spoil, and even then. You pay the free kick, you move on. He didn't karate chop the guys head like Dawes did, and I thought Dawes was unlucky to get a week

I don't think you can really call it a spoil, he pretty much double fisted the guy in the back of the head, and it was well after he took the mark.

AFAIK the question whether he goes or not depends on whether or not he could have pulled out of the contest in time. So what might save him is that Dawson was already in the air when the guy took the mark and maybe couldn't pull out. Not sure how the MRP will see it. And IIRC he has 97 carryover points or something so even the most minor of charges means he gets a week.

I hope you're right and Dawson doesn't go, we can't afford to have him miss against WC with their tall forward line. I see this as a real danger game, they will treat it like a final and throw everything at it. We will need to bring our A game.

I was impressed with Sylvia. Gave great effort and I thought his disposal was pretty clean as well especially considering the conditions. That performance puts him a fair way away from being dropped IMO.

As much as I'd love to see Mora, I reckon there'll be no changes.

Just crossing my fingers and toes that Dawson doesn't go for that spoil/hit/whatever it was... They have a quality bunch of tall forwards and I will not feel confident at all if we are without McPharlin, Johnson AND Dawson.

I have a feeling he's going to get a week. It didn't look good on TV and it means nothing that the ref didn't report him.
