Legend of the club? He's not in my outs this week as I thought it was his best game for some time but thats a fair dollop of mayonnaise.

Without potting Kelly himself, that trade absolutely crippled the club. He's a shadow of the player we signed up for and has always come across as a selfish player (in football terms) that's in it purely for himself.

In his first final for the club, with everybody playing… Gaff, Shuey, Yeo, Gov, Nicnat, all the boiz... Kelly had 12 disposals.

I appreciate the fact he was our best player in 2023 when the club was at the pits and he was able to stay on the park and play a full season when everyone around him was injured or awful, but I won't be calling him a legend of the club myself.

Seems a good fella and I respect him just looking after his family by getting as many years out of his football career as he can, but the sooner the club closes the book on the Tim Kelly chapter the better.

Legend of the club is a bit much, but he has been a very good servant for us.

Was tagged in 2020 EF, and he’s always been susceptible to a hard tag.

More to the point he was our only regular midfielder of any genuine quality from halfway through 2020 until Yeo came out of hibernation in 2024 and his 2023 season was statistically his best (other than goals).

Don’t want to open the can of worms but it’s not his fault Yeo and Shuey’s body disintegrated like fairy floss.

Up until his whole “fallen out of love with the game” spiel at the beginning of this year, I don’t recall Kelly every complaining about the situation he found himself in, which was really not of his doing, and certainly not what he signed up for.

He’s handled himself with a fair bit of grace and class overall I think, and while I’m keen to move on from the Kelly era, think he deserves to be treated with a bit more respect tbh.

I don’t think Hunt for Gross makes a lot of sense for mine.

Hutch, Dewar (if fit) and Maric should take the wings. Maric’s ball use is finally looking better now he is playing up the field more.

If Cripps comes out, then Gross could slot in to his spot.

Mini has been talking about Bazzo a lot the last couple of weeks, and I think he’s keen to get a look at Bazzo who’s finally fit and out of contract.

At least follow standard departure lounge procedure and make him sub first.

Termites.

I bought a house and it wasn’t disclosed to me that there was a termite infestation in the walls and moldings. So I had to take it upon myself to call a termite extermination company. But when the guys showed up, the first thing they did was ask if they could use my bathroom. Then, for over two hours, they took turns going in and out, taking massive mud-pies and overflushing like crazy.


Eventually, they both went in there together, and I started hearing all this scrounging around. Then suddenly there was yelling, and one of them was standing in the bathroom doorway shouting at me that his friend’s foot was stuck in the toilet. He was yelling, "Help him! You gotta help him!" So I ran in to help, but as soon as I got there, the guy just pulled his foot out easily and started laughing. His foot wasn’t stuck at all—he was faking it.


Then, out of nowhere, they both got super serious and shouted, "It’s Turbo Time!" and started sprinting around my house, leaping over the couches like maniacs. When I tried to join in, they yelled at me, "You're not part of the Turbo Team! Don't run! You don't run with us! We're the ones who run! Until you're part of this Turbo Team, walk slowly!" So I just gave up and went to lay down by myself and read my art books.


But the next day, I went into the bathroom and noticed the hole in my toilet looked... smaller. I thought, how could that be? There’s no way they could’ve shrunk the toilet. But then I saw a receipt in the trash from Home Depot—for a toilet the exact same size as mine, but with a joke hole that’s just for farts. They replaced my real toilet with a fart toilet. And now I can’t even take a dump in my own house because my toilet can’t suck 'em down. I feel sick to my stomach.
